SNAFU’s ‘New Earth Bandits 2’
The SNAFU Society of Unexpected Spectacles is returning to Victoria with New Earth Bandits 2, and will run from Thursday, August 14th to Sunday, August 17th at Macaulay Point Park!
Attendees will wander the trails, encountering giant puppets, aerial silk performances, live music with original songs, dance, clowning and more.
In truly choose-your-own-adventure style, you pick which paths you take and which performers you interact with, which will shape your experience.
Tickets are $30 for general admission and can be purchased here. This event is happening rain or shine!

Movies on the Hill
Join the crew at the Juan de Fuca Recreation Centre for their free outdoor movie series!
Attendees are encouraged to bring your own blankets, lawn chairs, picnics and anything else you may need to get cozy and enjoy a movie under the stars.
This Thursday will feature Mamma Mia! and the final show on August 28th will present Moana 2.
The movie is free to attend!

Dine at Finn’s Seafood Chops Cocktails
Built in 1882, and now home to a popular seafood and cocktail restaurant, this place contains more than just buckets of history!
Enjoy some fresh oysters and treat yourself to their classic lemon tart for dessert.
They’re located right in the heart of downtown and offer patio seating for the best ocean views!

Trivia at Saxe Point Pub
Get together a team of your smartest (or not) buddies and put your knowledge to the test!
Every Thursday, Sixty Watt Trivia takes over Saxe Point Pub with topics covering music, movies, sports, history, and more.
They allow teams of up to eight people, and reservations are highly recommended.

Esquimalt Farmers Market
Enjoy the outdoor Esquimalt Farmers Market, which has officially returned for its 11th season, and will be running until September.
You’ll find a huge selection of featured farm-fresh produce, meat, eggs, baked goods, jewelry, clothing and much more!
Plus, they’ll have rotating weekly food trucks and nightly musical performances.
