Sidney/North Saanich RCMP are asking for the public’s help in locating a missing 14-year-old girl.
According to police, Jessa Rose Darlene Casey, was reported missing on July 15th and was last seen the day before, on July 14th.
Jessa is described as a Caucasian girl with brown hair and brown eyes. She stands 5 feet 3 inches tall and weighs approximately 146 pounds.
At the time of her disappearance, she was wearing a white t-shirt and black shorts.
Her father, Aidan Hinschberger, made a public plea on social media, stating, “This is not a comical or fun post—my daughter is missing.”
He said she does not have a cell phone and that he has no contact with any of her friends but would try to reach out to any in hopes of gaining information.
According to Hinschberger, the care home where Jessa normally resides has no information about her whereabouts and only believes she may be in the Victoria or Sidney area.
He added that he is personally driving around the region in hopes of locating her.
Anyone with information about Jessa’s whereabouts is urged to contact police or call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477.
