Here’s the lineup for this weekend’s annual Soberfest in Langford

Gather with friends for some substance-free fun!

In honour and support of all those in addictions recovery or having gone through it, SoberFest is both a celebration as well as a fundraiser for important life-line recovery services. 

The fourth annual SoberFest will take place at the Starlight Stadium this Saturday, August 2nd from 1 p.m. to 9 p.m., and will feature live music, an abundance of vendors and delicious food options!

As of July 24th, they’ve confirmed the official event schedule, starting at 12:30 p.m., when the doors officially open.

To welcome everyone onto the grounds will be performers The Aftermath, Robbie Currie, Scott Monk and Caleb Hart. 

Following some opening remarks made at 1:45 p.m., Colicchie will amp up the crowd with his powerful rap music—which is often reflective of his struggles with addiction as a young man. 

Yukon Blonde, a Canadian indie rock band from Kelowna and now based in Vancouver, will take over at 3:10 p.m.

Current members include Jeff Innes on vocals, guitar and chief songwriter; Brandon Scott with guitar and vocals; Graham Jones on drums and vocals; and James Younger playing the bass and vocals.

Just over an hour later at 4:30 p.m., Snak the Ripper will take the stage with his rap performance. He was also a founding member of Stompdown Killaz, a hip hop collective and graffiti crew.

Next up, we have Canadian rock band The Strumbellas at 6 p.m., bringing their signature unique mix of rock, country, and gothic folk.

Their current members include David Ritter playing the keyboards; Darryl James playing bass guitar; Isabel Ritchie on violin and keyboards; Jon Hembrey on lead guitar; and Jimmy Chauveau with his lead vocals and acoustic guitar.

To finish off the festival on a high note, Serena Ryder will be the final performer at 8 p.m. Born in Toronto and now a globally recognized singer/songwriter, she’s released eight studio albums.

Expected performers include Serena Ryder, The Strumbellas, Yukon Blonde, Snak The Ripper, Colicchie and more.
