Gather with friends for some substance-free fun!
In honour and support of all those in addictions recovery or having gone through it, SoberFest is both a celebration as well as a fundraiser for important life-line recovery services.
The fourth annual SoberFest will take place at the Starlight Stadium on Saturday, August 2nd from 1 p.m. to 9 p.m., and will feature live music, an abundance of vendors and delicious food options!
Expected performers include Serena Ryder, The Strumbellas, Yukon Blonde, Snak The Ripper, Colicchie and more.
Some of the incredible vendors to expect will include Big Bad Bob’s Hotdogs, Sidney Scones, CandyTime, The Ice Cream Truck, Our Bannock Truck and many others!
Additionally, this year’s SoberFest features a curated open-air vendor market filled with art, wellness, and community love.

Tickets are $60 for general admission, and children 12 and under get in for free. If you wish to leave a donation, there’s an option to do so under “Helping Families Heal” on the ticket page.
Proceeds go towards Rewired Recovery Foundation—a registered non-profit organization dedicated to helping individuals struggling with addiction to achieve and maintain recovery.
There will be a security checkpoint at the gate. If narcotics, marijuana, alcohol, weapons, glass or fireworks are found, you will be asked to return the items to your vehicle or they’ll be thrown out. Smoking and vaping is also prohibited.
If you plan on bringing a reusable water bottle, they ask that you ensure it’s empty upon arrival. You can fill it up at their water stations once inside.

According to SoberFest’s website, over 40 people have been assisted with treatment as a result of their fundraising so far!
It all began in 2022, when Mike Manhas, the organizer of the SoberFest, wanted to address the difficulty of being in the presence of beer tents and drug use at music festivals.
As someone who overcame his own struggles with addiction, it’s all the more important for him to provide that space for others who relate to his story and share in his obstacles.
He wanted to create a safe and fun environment where people in recovery could come together and celebrate their journey toward sobriety, and so SoberFest was born.
