Cheers to another great weekend ahead, Victoria!
Some of the major highlights include the famous Northwest Deuce Days, another Whistle Buoy Big Patio Day, a collection of markets and much more.
Another huge event worth checking out is the Art Gallery Paint-In, hosted by the Art Gallery of Greater Victoria! It attracts around 50,000 people each year.
Plus, the Pacific Opera Victoria’s Open Air Series officially began, and will run until Sunday, July 27th.

Northwest Deuce Days
The beloved Northwest Deuce Days car show kicked off on Thursday, July 17th and runs until Sunday, July 20th!
Saturday, starting at 7 a.m., will bring onlookers the So-Cal Speed Shop Poker Run, where Dallas Road will become the world’s most beautiful traffic jam, as the classic cars will be staged along it. The official race begins at 9 a.m.!
The main Deuce Day event, coined the Spectacular Northwest Deuce Day, will be held on Sunday at Victoria’s Inner Harbour.
Attendees will stroll along Victoria’s downtown core for an incredible outdoor showcase of over 1,000 classic collector’s vehicles from all over the world.

Farmhouse in the Fields Vintage Market
Farmhouse in the Fields Vintage Market is back for another year!
Check out over 45 incredible vendors, selling charming goods for your home, garden, and everything in between.
There will be live music, a food truck and refreshments as well for anyone looking for a pick-me-up!
It’s $3 to enter, but children 12-years-old and younger may enter for free. Dogs are welcome if they’re on a leash.

Pacific Opera Victoria: Open Air Series
Pacific Opera Victoria is once again presenting their Open Air: Opera in the Summer series, spanning from Friday, July 18th to Sunday, July 27th.
This event will feature both free and ticketed music events in and around Victoria, giving residents and visitors ample time to catch one of their incredible shows.
From July 18th to 20th, catch some family-friendly performances of Ben Moore’s Odyssey in the afternoons, and from July 22nd to 27th, Pacific Opera singers will be stationed in parks and surprise public spaces with free pop-up events.
Ben Moore’s Odyssey is performed by their Youth Summer Performance Program, and stars local singers aged 8 to 18, alongside opera professionals.
It’s an epic tale that will come to life with the magic of music and myth, and it’s selling out quickly, so don’t wait to get your tickets for $15, here!

Summer Indigenous Market
Connect with local Indigenous artists and makers at the Summer Indigenous Market, held at the Royal BC Museum until Saturday, July 19th!
Here, you’ll find a wide variety of handmade goods, such as jewelry, beadwork, prints, clothing, carvings and much more.
Everyone’s welcome, and it’s free to enter.

Metchosin Summer Witches Market
Join Events by L.A. for the Metchosin Summer Witches Market this weekend!
Attendees can expect to meet psychics, healers, local artisans and shop at vendors, for broomsticks, crystals, candles and much more.
Some of the vendors will include Art by Ariana Zimmermann, Art by Scarlett, Botanicals by Alison, C Naturals, Catch A Star Studio, Color Street by Theresa Parkin, Creations by Cheryl and many others.
Country Crepes Food Truck will be on site, and merch bags will be given out to the first 30 guests to arrive.

Whistle Buoy’s Big Patio Days: Beach Day
This year, Whistle Buoy’s beloved Big Patio Days will feature an expanded patio, as well as its classic food vendors and stage!
For their third Big Patio Day of the summer, dubbed the “Beach Day,” artists will include Yours Truly, Alle, Local Charm, and GETTWETT with food from Los Panas and The Wandering Mollusk.
Cover is $5 and re-entry is permitted with a wristband!

Art Gallery Paint-In
Mark your calendars for this Saturday, July 19th, as the Art Gallery Paint-In, presented by TD Bank Group, returns to celebrate its 36th anniversary in vibrant style.
The Art Gallery of Greater Victoria invites you to explore an entire day filled with creativity, music, and fun on Moss Street, from Fort Street to Clover Avenue.
Since its inception in 1989, the Art Gallery Paint-In has blossomed into one of Canada’s largest and most anticipated art festivals, drawing in 50,000 visitors every year.

Colombian Summer Rumba: “Tierra Querida” Party
Join the crew at The Coda for a “Tierra Querida” Party for a night of Columbian music, presented by a lineup of DJs!
The night will begin with a live performance from Daniel Sar and Sofia Leonne, then DJ Miro will take the stage, followed by DJ Alex King and Danza Colombia.

One Direction: 15th Anniversary Party
Dedicated Directioners, this is for you!
Capital Ballroom is hosting a 15th anniversary party for famous boyband One Direction, and it’ll feature all of your favourite tunes, spun by DJs Superficial and Call Me Maybe.
To note, the DJs are not affiliated with the remaining members of One Direction in any way, so they won’t be attending the event (sorry to say!).

Little League Classic Triple Header
Admission is by donation, and kids 12 and under get in free, as local Little League teams take the field for a special triple-header in preparation for the Canadian National Little League Championships, coming to Victoria from July 29 to August 7, 2025.
The event is supported by the Victoria HarbourCats Foundation, with all proceeds going to Layritz Little League. HarbourCats season ticket holders get in free as part of their package.
