Car lovers, mark your calendars!
The beloved Northwest Deuce Days car show is returning to Victoria this month, and we’ve got everything you’ll need to know about this exciting community event.
Taking place from Thursday, July 17th to Sunday, July 20th, there will be a variety of events in and around the downtown core, showcasing the glimmering beauty of classic and vintage vehicles throughout the weekend.
The event hasn’t been held in Victoria since 2022, so it’s bound to be a bustling experience, filled with thrill and roaring engines!
To officially begin the celebration, there will be a Coho Blackball Ferry Welcome Ceremony, where the MV Coho ferry will arrive from Port Angeles, Washington, carrying an array of classic hot-rods.
Tourists and locals alike are encouraged to stand along the road for an informal parade, cheering and welcoming the car collectors to Victoria!
To ensure this particular event runs smoothly, Belleville Street will be closed between Menzies and Oswego Streets periodically throughout the day.
Saturday, starting at 7 a.m., will bring onlookers the So-Cal Speed Shop Poker Run, where Dallas Road will become the world’s most beautiful traffic jam, as the classic cars will be staged along it.
The Poker Run starts at 9 a.m., and parking will be very limited around Dallas Road, so consider alternate parking areas or transit!
The main Deuce Day event, coined the Spectacular Northwest Deuce Day, will be held on Sunday at Victoria’s Inner Harbour.
Attendees will stroll along Victoria’s downtown core for an incredible outdoor showcase of over 1,000 classic collector’s vehicles from all over the world.
Parking of the classic vehicles begins bright and early, and they’ll be around until around 3:30 p.m., where cars can start pulling away at their own leisure.
The Deuce Day awards will be happening at 3 p.m. on the Legislative Lawn, where judges will issue awards to this year’s hottest cars.
