Ska & Reggae Festival

The 26th Annual Victoria Ska & Reggae Festival officially kicked off on Wednesday, and it’s already shaping up to be one for the books. Full festival passes, VIP tickets, and the much-hyped Propagandhi show are all sold out.

But if you missed the boat on passes, don’t worry, single-day tickets are still available for some of the weekend’s biggest acts.

The festival runs until Sunday, June 22nd, and full lineup information as well as tickets can be found on their website.

Pride Ride in Esquimalt

Esquimalt Parks and Recreation are hosting a free Pride Ride, where everyone is invited to celebrate the LGBTQ2S+ community with this fun bike ride!

The bike ride is a 7-8 kilometre loop around Esquimalt, and riders are encouraged to dress in fun, bright colours and decorate their bikes.

After the ride, participants and spectators are welcome to come by Memorial Park for a picnic, where there’ll be local food trucks, lawn games and more!

Seaside Music Festival

The Seaside Music Festival in Sidney kicks off this Friday, June 20th and runs until Sunday, June 22nd!

Featuring a variety of wonderful performances across different genres, each day will offer something new to check out—including both ticketed and free shows.

Friday will bring musicians such as Elise LeBlanc and Whiskey River, Pony Gold, Shari Ulrich and Roy Forbes.

Live Comedy at The Maple Room

Strath Laughs is back for another brilliant night of comedy, located in the Maple Room above the Sticky Wicket Pub!

The night will kick off with an open mic, and their headliner for Friday’s performance is Danielle Florence.

General admission tickets are $10 at the door, and performers get in for free.

Smut Camp at Capital Ballroom

Luminesque is thrilled to present SMUT CAMP, where fantasies are filthy, the dancing’s fierce, and the stories break all the rules.

Following prolific romantasy novelist, Eleanor, take a journey with a variety of stories told through heels dancers, pole dancers and more—this show will satisfy all of your fantasies.

Tickets are $30 for regular general admission.
