Get ready to ‘paws’ everything!

Fernwood is about to become the purr-fect place for feline fans as it gears up to host the very first Cat Walk!

This charming, cat-themed neighbourhood tour will take place on Saturday, May 31st from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m., with map pickup at Little Fernwood starting at 1:30 p.m.

Cat lovers of all ages are invited to stroll through the streets of Fernwood, map in hand, on a mission to spot the area’s most charismatic cats.

This free, family-friendly event promises a delightful afternoon of whiskers, window sightings, and sidewalk celebrity cats showing off their style.

Participants can take the self-guided route at their own pace or join up with other cat-spotters for a more social stroll.

While each “cat stop” offers a chance to spot local feline residents in their natural habitat, organizers ask that attendees leave their own pets at home.

Once the tour wraps up, the fun continues at The Fernwood Inn for an after-party, starting at 4 p.m. and running until 6 p.m. Here, guests can unwind with a “cat chat” and take part in raffles and giveaways.

Local vendors will also be on-site with a mini pop-up market, offering everything from custom cat toys to organic catnip and gourmet treats—perfect for spoiling your furry friend when you get home!
