Wendy’s is turning 50 in Canada, and to celebrate, they’re handing out Jr. Frostys for just 50 cents until Sunday, May 24th.
Whether you’re team chocolate or vanilla, both versions are made with 100% Canadian dairy and are the perfect excuse to treat yourself as the weather warms up.
The deal marks 50 years since Wendy’s opened its first Canadian location in Hamilton, Ontario back in 1975. Today, there are nearly 450 franchise-owned Wendy’s restaurants across the country—including at the two locations in Greater Victoria.
And if you’re the type who likes to level up your cheat day, Wendy’s also just dropped a Grilled Cheese Cheeseburger—yes, you read that right.
It’s a full-on quarter-pound Canadian beef burger with caramelized onions, melty cheese, and creamy mayo, served between two grilled cheese sandwiches as the bun. Available for a limited time.
More deals are coming, too—starting May 26th, Wendy’s will be offering $1.99 small drinks like Frosty Fizz, Frosty-ccino, and Iced Coffee (with new flavours like chocolate, caramel or vanilla) through June 29th.
