The past week kept Victoria residents humble after a few weeks of sun and warmer temperatures, but now, things will start to heat up again.
Beginning Wednesday, May 21st, Victoria’s forecast will just keep getting better, culminating in highs above 20°C on the weekend.
Wednesday’s predicted high is a modest 15°C, with a mix of sun and cloud, but no rain, according to Environment Canada. The overnight low will get down to 8°C.
Thursday will see the temperature dial turned up ever so slightly to a high of 17°C with mainly sunny conditions, the overnight low will once again get back down to 8°C.
On Friday, Environment Canada’s forecast predicts the high will hold at 17°C, but with more clouds than the day prior. The overnight low will be around 9°C.
Then on Saturday, everything starts to get better—the forecasted high being 19°C with no clouds in sight.
Sunday will see Victoria get just a little bit warmer still, with a predicted high of 21°C and sunny skies all day long.
The overnight low on Saturday and Sunday will be around 10°C or 11°C.
Next week, Environment Canada’s forecast predicts the warm weather will hold, with Monday’s high being 21°C as well, with a mix of sun and cloud.

Not only will the sun be out in Victoria the rest of this week and into the weekend, but so will thousands of visitors to the city.
According to the Greater Victoria Harbour Authority, there are 37,000 tourists coming through on cruise ships alone through the week, and many of those visitors will be around town through the weekend.
