The Victoria Royals are off to a roaring start in their first-round WHL playoff series, and fans can once again gather to cheer them on at the team’s official playoff watch party at Six Mile Pub in View Royal.
With the Royals up 2–0 in their best-of-seven series against the Tri-City Americans, the action now shifts south of the border to Kennewick, Washington, where the teams will battle it out for games 3 and 4—and if needed, game 5.
For local fans looking to experience the high-stakes playoff energy with fellow supporters, Six Mile Pub is the place to be. Game 3 is scheduled for Tuesday, April 1st, with puck drop at 7:05 p.m. at the Toyota Center. Game 4 follows the very next night.

Adding to the excitement, Royals goaltender Johnny Hicks was just named WHL Goalie of the Week for the week ending March 30th.
The Kamloops native was lights out over the weekend, posting a 1.00 goals against average and a .962 save percentage in the Royals’ two playoff wins. He also earned his first WHL shutout on Friday night as Victoria blanked Tri-City 3–0.
Hicks currently leads all WHL goaltenders in goals against average and ranks second in save percentage this post-season.
During the regular season, Hicks posted a 10-4-0-1 record, with a 2.69 GAA and a .909 save percentage, making him one of the Royals’ most valuable assets heading into the playoffs.
