Sooke Road is closed in both directions Friday afternoon following a multi-vehicle crash involving a small car and cement truck.
The crash occurred just after 2:30 p.m. on March 14th in the 4500 block of Sooke Road.
Motorists should avoid traveling on Sooke Road for some time as the area is cleared.
Video of the crash sent to Victoria Buzz shows at least one person in a small BMW suffering serious but non-life threatening injuries. The injured driver of the black BMW is alert.
The crash also involved a cement truck, which is blocking both lanes. The driver of the cement truck appears not to have been injured.
We are currently at the scene of a 2 vehicle collision, involving a cement truck and vehicle. Please note the 4500 block of Sooke Rd is shut down in both directions as the cement truck is going to take some time to move. Please find an alternate route.
