Alcohol-free daytime dance event returns to Esquimalt after successful inaugural launch

Mark your calendars, because you won’t want to miss out on this one-of-a-kind event!

After the incredible success of its first event, which transformed a local coffee shop into a lively, judgment-free dance haven, LEGACIX EVENTS is back with the second edition of Coffee Dance Club!

This unique, family-friendly daytime dance experience is all about good music, great coffee, and a welcoming atmosphere—all in an alcohol-free setting.

This exciting new movement event is inspired by similar approaches in cities like New York, Los Angeles, and Toronto.

Now, organizer and DJ Jonathan Draize (aka LegaciX) is bringing this fresh alternative to Victoria, with plans to expand to other locations soon.

The second edition promises to bring even more energy to the dance floor, with an amazing lineup of talent. Not only will host DJ LegaciX be spinning, but there’s two more special guests lined up.

These guest DJs include Matt Hatter, a tech house specialist and finalist in the 2025 Vancouver Island DJ Competition and Soleil Carrillo, who’s known for his international DJ experience—including the Amsterdam Dance Event in 2023 and 2024, and the 2025 Ibiza Music Summit among others.

Other artists from the first Coffee Dance Club include MyLOVE and Disco Cat!

Whether you’re a seasoned dancer or someone just looking to enjoy the vibes, Coffee Dance Club offers an inclusive space for everyone to come together and celebrate community and music.
