Little Fernwood Reno Fundraiser
From Friday, January 17th to Sunday, January 19th, the Fernwood Community & Arts Association (FCAA) is hosting the “Little Fernwood Reno Fundraiser,” aiming to raise funds for essential renovations.
Across these three days, they’ll be hosting a series of performances and activities, ranging from yoga and tea to variety shows and live bands.
The fundraiser kicked off on Friday with the three-day silent auction, which will close on Sunday at 3:30 p.m.
All events from Friday, January 17th to Sunday, January 19th are entry by donation, with a suggested donation of $25 for adults and $10 for youth.

Free Cineplex Popcorn
National Popcorn Day is back, and Cineplex is offering free popcorn to Scene+ members all weekend, from Friday, January 17th to Sunday, January 19th!
The free small popcorn will be included with a movie ticket purchase at any Cineplex location.
Don’t feel like going out to watch a movie? No problem!
If you order from Cineplex through SKIP, Uber Eats or DoorDash, a free small popcorn will automatically be added to your delivery.

Visit the Art Gallery of Greater Victoria
If you’re looking for a quiet weekend activity, look no further!
The Art Gallery of Greater Victoria (AGGV) is the perfect opportunity to discover something new, find inspiration and see what some of the world’s greatest artists are up to.
Their current exhibitions include From Warhol to Banksy, From Balzar to Hunt, Beauty of Mending and A View From Here.

Pickle Pub Crawl
Hosted by Hidden Victoria, the Pickle Pub Crawl offers a unique twist on the classic pub crawl experience!
Set against the stunning backdrop of Victoria’s picturesque harbour, this tour combines the city’s vibrant pub scene and its charming ferry system.
It’s $65 per person and still has slots available this weekend!

Pinot & Paint
Join the Oaklands Community Association as they host a fun Pinot & Paint night!
It’s a step-by-step painting class and is for all levels. They’ll be supplying all of the needed materials, including snacks, and a glass of wine.
All of the participants must be 19+.

Victoria Royals vs. Kamloops Blazers
Catch the second of the back-to-back games against Kamloops Blazers this Saturday!
They want to hear your Victoria Royals spirit, so bring a group of friends and cheer extra loud. Don’t forget to treat yourself to a Phillips beverage or some arena comfort food.

RAKATA: Latin Night at Wicket Hall
Presented by Madness & Bounce, Wicket Hall is hosting a Latin night, RAKATA!
Prepare for an epic night with Toronto’s heavy-hitting Latin DJ Itz Nico P, who will be making his Victoria debut.
He’ll be playing a mix of reggae, salsa, merengue, dembow and much more!
Ticket prices depend on tier, and there are still tickets available in tier 4 for $22.

Presented by Victoria’s Other Secret and hosted at Capital Ballroom, everyone is welcome to attend the Vibe Check event full of dancing and good times!
Victoria’s Other Secret and Bobby Dazzler will be bringing you a fantastic lineups of hits ranging from the 1960s to the 2020s.

90s Dance Mix Tour at Save-on-Foods Memorial Centre
The ultimate throwback party of the decade is making its way to Save-On-Foods Memorial Centre on January 19th.
The 90s Dance Mix Tour is about to transport you straight to the heart of the 90s with legendary hits, unforgettable dance moves, and all the iconic vibes you’ve been missing.
This show brings together an all-star lineup of some of the most celebrated 90s acts, including Milli Vanilli, Haddaway, 2 Unlimited, Turbo B of SNAP!, and Daisy Dee of Technotronic.
Plus, DJ Kav will keep the party going with a Video Dance Party packed with classic 90s music videos and remixes.
Ticket prices vary by seat selection, but they start at $49.50 for the upper bowl.
