How many Tim Horton trips did you take this year, Victoria?
As we say goodbye to 2024, Tim Hortons is reflecting on an exciting year of classic favourites, and new menu additions, revealing the top go-to items for fans!
This year, Tim Hortons celebrated their 60th anniversary with a special lineup of four Retro Donuts, and most Canadians across the country eagerly embraced the Walnut Crunch, beating the Dutchie.
Meanwhile, the Apple Fritter continued to reign supreme as the nation’s top donut, holding on to its crown for yet another year.
However, the Boston Cream was still the donut of choice in the Maritimes, while Quebecers remained fiercely loyal to their iconic Honey Cruller (or “tractor wheel,” as they affectionately call it).
When it came to Timbits, the Chocolate Glazed Timbit proved to be the nationwide favourite.

Tims also launched their Flatbread Pizzas in April, with the Pepperoni flavour emerging as the top pick across Canada, with the Chicken Parmesan flavour not far behind.
For cold beverages, the Iced Capp remained the undisputed favourite, celebrating 25 years of refreshing Tim Hortons fans.
In July, Tim Hortons introduced the Infusr energy drinks, with the Blackberry Yuzu quickly becoming the top flavour. The Quenchers line also saw Strawberry Watermelon as their standout flavour.
When it came to breakfast, Tim Hortons delivered once again, bringing back Omelette Bites in January—the Bacon and Cheese flavour emerged as the most popular.
Not only is Tim Hortons celebrating a wonderful year of coffee and treats, they also took a moment to acknowledge their charitable impacts this year too.
For example, the Special Olympics Donut to the Smile Cookie campaign saw Canadians rally to raise an incredible $44.1 million over the course of the year.
“2024 was a really special year for all of us at Tims as we celebrated the 60th anniversary of the brand and we’d like to thank our guests for making us a part of their lives day after day and year after year,” said Axel Schwan, president of Tim Hortons.
“We have lots of exciting plans for 2025 and we can’t wait to start revealing some fun surprises for guests in the weeks and months to come.”
There’s always time for Tim Hortons—see you in 2025!
