Heads up, Victoria! Christmas is just around the corner, and this is your last weekend to soak in the holiday spirit before the big day!
From the ferris wheel making a much anticipated return to downtown Victoria to live music and holiday events, there is plenty of events happening.

Ferris Wheel at Victoria’s Lights of Wonder
Get a great view of the downtown Victoria with the return of the ferris wheel at Lights of Wonder.
This popular feature, which first appeared in Centennial Square in 2012 and became a local tradition until 2016, will make its grand comeback this year, adding a dose of thrill and nostalgia to the holiday event.
The ferris wheel provides a bird’s-eye view of Victoria’s beautifully lit cityscape. It will be open for rides nightly from December 20th to 31st, beginning at 4 p.m., weather permitting.

The Temps at Irish Times (live music)
Looking for live music while enjoying the scene of a festive Irish pub?
Featuring one of Victoria’s top party bands, this group brings the energy with a dynamic mix of classics, retro hits, and modern favourites.
The lineup includes powerhouse vocalist Justin Hewitt, bassist Rick May, drummer Murray Creed, and guitarist Josh Szczepanowski. Don’t miss this talented ensemble delivering unforgettable performances that will have you singing and dancing all night long!

Book a Ghosts of Christmas Past Tour
The Ghostly Walks team are offering something special throughout December!
Join them on a “Ghosts of Christmas Past” walk, where they take you on a spooky route through Old Town, highlighting some of the best seasonal ghost stories.
Adult tickets are $22 and can be purchased here. Spaces are booking up fast, so book in advance if this Wednesday is filled!

BC Legislature: Holiday Concert Series
Enjoy the final free holiday concert at the BC Legislature. Head to the Upper Rotunda on the second floor and get into the spirit with performances by SingYourJoy Children’s Choir.

Holiday Carousel in the Park
Head to Veterans Memorial Park for a magical holiday carousel ride! Watch the lights sparkle as you enjoy the carousel and finish off your adventure exploring the park.
When you finish your carousel ride, enjoy hot drinks from Morningstar Coffee’s mobile cart and holiday carollers. While admission to the carousel is free, there will be volunteers on site collecting donations of non-perishable food items for the Goldstream Food Bank.

BONUS: St. Luke’s Players Community Theatre’s ‘Camelot’
St. Luke’s Players Community Theatre invites you to their production of Camelot.
This fun story is where princes and princesses, witches and wizards, invisible men and teddy bears come to life.
