Fresh off an electrifying comeback victory, the Victoria Royals are closing out their four-game homestand starting today with a back-to-back set of games against the Kamloops Blazers.

After a nail-biting match against the Saskatoon Blades, the Royals clinched a 5-4 shootout win, rallying from a 4-1 deficit to deliver a gripping finish for fans.

In what marked their second matchup against an Eastern Conference team this weekend and their fourth shootout game of the season, the Royals’ rallied in the third period to tie the game and ultimately triumph in the shootout.

Tuesday and Wednesday’s matchup between the Royals and Blazers will be the third time they meet this season.

The last matchup between the two sides was in Kamloops on October 22nd where the Royals fell to the Blazers with a final score of 6-3. In the BC Division, the Royals sit third with 20 points and carry a seven-point lead over the Blazers who sit fourth with 13 points.

For Tuesday’s game, the Victoria Royals have partnered with the Canucks Autism Network to promote Autism Acceptance.

Fans in attendance for tonight’s game will notice several in-arena adjustments to enhance the experience for all.

Sound levels for music and other arena sounds will be slightly lowered, creating a more comfortable environment.

Additionally, a sensory room will be available for fans who may need a quiet space to step away and recharge if they feel overstimulated during the game.

On Wednesday, November 6th, the Royals will play the second night of back-to-back battles, with DJ Pauly pre-game party at Gate 1 to set the stage for an exciting weekday match-up.

One player to watch for is Nanaimo-born winger Boehm has become a key Royals forward.

Since his October trade, the 20-year-old has scored 12 points (three goals, nine assists) in nine games, and enters Tuesday’s match on a three-game point streak, with points in four of his last five games. Sunday saw Boehm’s fourth multi-point game with two assists.

Puck drops at 7:05 p.m. for both Tuesday and Wednesday games.
