BC Smoke Shop Harbour Blues ‘n Roots Festival

The Victoria Jazz Society is thrilled to welcome the BC Smoke Shop Harbour Blues ‘n Roots Festival back to the city!

It kicks off on Friday, August 23rd and runs until Sunday, August 25th, and offers an extensive lineup of talented artists, both local and visiting.

There are both ticketed and free performances to catch—view their full schedule so you don’t miss a thing!

Trivia Night at Herald Street Brew Works

Get ready to test your knowledge at The More You Novak Trivia Night at Herald Street Brew Works!

The evening is in support of Bailey Parker and her Cops for Cancer Tour de Rock ride. Join her and fellow Victorians in some trivia, check out the silent auction items and try the brewery’s featured beer, Pedal to Paradise Salted Guava Lager.

Proceeds go directly to the Canadian Cancer Society! Tickets are just over $11 and can be purchased via Eventbrite.

VIATEC Summer Tech Together

VIATEC is hosting a free admission Summer Tech Together BBQ and everyone is welcome!

The food is available for purchase, and activities include basketball showdowns, human hungry hippos, obstacle course, VR archery and more.

Get to know the vibrant spirit of Victoria’s tech team and have fun with your family!

Grab a Kahuna Burger or Poke Bowl

If you’re looking for a unique, gourmet burger or poke bowl experience, Kahuna is the place for you!

Their cuisine is a harmonious combination of Hawaiian and West Coast Canadian flavours, and they offer a wide variety of poke bowls, burgers and exceptional desserts—including the famous Dole Whip.

Fringe Festival 2024

Intrepid Theatre’s Fringe Festival has officially kicked off as of Wednesday, August 21st and runs until Sunday, September 1st!

There will be 150 performances from 28 local, national and international talented artists at venues across downtown Victoria.

You’ll have the opportunity to check out a number of different live entertainment genres—including dance, comedy, drama, kids programming, spoken word and late-night cabarets.

Some of Friday’s highlights include Castle of Glass, Multiple Organism, Jewish-ish and more!

All tickets must be purchased in advance, either online or in person at the Intrepid Theatre box office. There’s also a one-time payment of $6 for your festival membership button, which is required to see shows.
