Sidney/North Saanich RCMP have confirmed that 47-year-old Scott Patterson has been located, and is safe and sound.

Sidney/North Saanich RCMP are seeking the public’s help in locating a missing 47-year-old man.
Scott Patterson was last seen on Monday, July 15th at around 3 p.m. in Victoria, and was reported missing on Tuesday, July 16th.
Patterson is described as a Caucasian man, standing 5’10” tall, with a slim build. He’s balding and has a shaved head and beard.
He also has a large script tattoo with his late sister’s name on his left forearm.
He’s said to love nature and walking along the water in Esquimalt and Sooke, especially at Sombrio Beach—however, the police have said they’re not limiting their search to only these locations.
Police and family have expressed their deep concern for his health and wellbeing, adding that it is out of character for Patterson to be out of touch this long.
