Wildlife Photographer of the Year
Community favourite exhibition, Wildlife Photographer of the Year has returned to the Royal BC Museum as of March 1st!
This exhibit uses the power of photography to raise awareness around animal advocacy and environmental conservation while showcasing some of the world’s best nature photography.
Grab your family and friends and see what was worthy of display this year up!

K-Pop Night
Ready for your waiting eyes and ears — K-Pop night is back at Lucky Bar for another evening of favourite songs and videos!
The event will feature Soju Bombs and DJ Rupert Cameron with videos from artists such as BlackPink, Twice, BTS, Girls Generation, 2NE1, Stray Kids, Le Sserafim, Itzy, and many more.

Sunset Swing: Vocal Jazz and Swingin’ B3 Organ Quartet
Hermann’s Jazz Club is thrilled to present another Sunset Swing, promised to transform your mood on a soul level with fun groovy interpretations of jazz standards.
Audiences will be delighted to hear award-winning jazz vocalist/lyricist Angela Verbrugge light up the stage with the soul-feeding and thrilling sound of his B3 organ trio.
You’ll hear favourite songs you recognize as well as some lesser known jazz hits!

Writers’ Open Mic
Head down to Gigi’s Cafe for an evening of inspiration, creativity, hard-hitting lines, and more at their Open Mic for writers.
If you’re feeling brave, come with your writing and present it to an audience within a 10 minute time-slot.
Everyone is happy to listen to whatever you have—be it poetry, fiction, or nonfiction!
Their kitchen and coffee bar will be open, so you can enjoy some delicious refreshments while you listen!

In 1913 Sir Ernest Shackleton set sail with 27 men to attempt to cross the frozen continent of Antarctica on foot. His vessel became trapped in sea ice.
