Dripping Fins at Lucky Bar
Head downtown to Lucky Bar for a night of dancing with your pals and vibe to Dripping Fins’ new music!
Band members include Cairo Kennedy on bass, Astrid Bosse on rhythm and vocals, Harbour Nolan as the lead and vocals, and Ethan Page playing drums.
Also featured will be guests Sail Cassady and newcomers Oakes.
Tickets are $15 online or $20 at the door!

OUTstages: A Decidedly Queer Theatre Festival
Theatre lovers, drama addicts, and adrenaline cravers, pay attention!
Intrepid Theatre is thrilled to present their 10th annual OUTstages: a decidedly queer theatre festival—it kicked off on January 31st and runs until February 11th.
This huge 10th-year celebration will bring dazzling queer performances and adventurous programming to Victoria with a 12-day run of eclectic and electric shows by queer artists from both Vancouver Island and other areas of Canada!
Thursday’s performance will present an event co-presented with Dance Victoria for the first time ever. Their show is called Residuals and is a really beautiful dance theatre creation from a Japanese-Canadian artist from Vancouver, Shion Skye Carter.

Synchronicity Group Show & Sale
The Art Gallery of Greater Victoria is thrilled to host Art Rental & Sales’ event, Synchronicity!
This group show and sale brings together all the weird and wonderful through combinations of work and artists.
Come see it for yourself during their opening reception this Thursday!
Admission to the Spencer Showroom and Massey Sales Gallery is always free.

Victoria Film Festival
Every year, the VFF celebrates cinema’s finest—showcasing acclaimed works and offering local audiences a unique opportunity to experience the magic of the big screen.
This year’s festival kicked off on February 2nd and will run until February 11th, with plenty of amazing films to catch over the weekend.
Screenings for this Thursday include Robot Dreams, Till Love Do Us Part, Crows are White, and more! To view their full schedule and locations, visit their website.

Eat at Shuck Taylor’s
If you’ve been meaning to try oysters and learn more about them, we’ve got the perfect spot for you!
Local oyster and seafood master, Jess Taylor, known for his catering business Wandering Mollusk, is known in the community for providing a huge variety of fresh, delectable seafood to his tables.
To bring his fans more oysters, all the time, he opened Shuck Taylor’s in late 2023 and is always thrilled to introduce people to the tasty sea-snack.
Besides oysters, some highlighted menu items included Sunshine Coast farmed caviar and lobster rolls, made from 100% East Coast lobster!
He will be selling the popular Wandering Mollusk Crab Buckets on-site too, so they’ll be available for order in person as well as online.
