No trip to Victoria is complete without a visit to Beacon Hill Children’s Farm to run with the goats.
Which is exactly what NDP leader Jagmeet Singh did on Tuesday, joining Laurel Collins, NDP MP for Victoria, along with each of their respective kids—and no, not the goats.
Although the main reason for the visit to the capital city was to meet with Premier Horgan, Singh had time to join in on the very Victorian pastime of ‘running with the goats’ and chat with a few locals at the popular petting zoo.

In a tweet in regards to his stop in Victoria, Singh said his focus on talks with Horgan would be on healthcare.
“For the past 7 years, Liberals have maintained the cuts to healthcare the Conservatives put in place. Wait times have got longer and staff shortages worse.”
“Today, I met with Premier Horgan to discuss the urgent help needed to improve healthcare services across Canada.”
