The Trans Canada Highway is closed in both directions as West Shore RCMP deal with an ongoing incident.
In a tweet, RCMP said they closed the highway as they assist someone in crisis.
“Please use patience as we attempt to de-escalate the situation,” said West Shore RCMP in their tweet.

Police are asking people to use alternate routes as they assist a distraught person on the Helmcken Road overpass.
