Share

A rollover motor vehicle accident has caused traffic delays northbound on the Pat Bay Highway in Sidney, just in front of the Sidney Safety Centre.

The crash occurred in the northbound lanes just after 4 p.m., south of Beacon Avenue.

Sidney Volunteer Fire Department was on scene and report traffic was temporarily down to single lane going northbound on the Pat Bay Highway. It has since reopened to both lanes and all emergency vehicles have cleared.

The cause of the crash is currently unknown, and Sidney RCMP are investigating.

One driver has been transported to hospital with what is believed to be only minor injuries.

More to come.
