La Taqueria is celebrating National Taco Day with 2-for-1 tacos at all locations during Happy Hour, from 3pm-6pm!
Of La Taqueria’s menu, four meat tacos and four vegetarian tacos are available at the 2-for-1 price.
Those include the Mexican Carnitas, a pork confit taco topped with pickled onion, the Tinga de Pollo, a chicken and chorizo filling cooked in chipotle tomato sauce, topped with Mexican cheese and sour cream, and the Rajas Con Crema, made with roasted poblano peppers with creamed corn, sour cream and Mexican cheese.
Regular Happy Hour drink features of $4 Tequila Margaritas and $5 Mezcal Margaritas will be on offer as usual at La Taqueria Hastings, Cambie, Hornby and Victoria.
Scour the city for a free helping of tacos
The same day, you can also snag a free gift certificate by participating in a taco-themed scavenger hunt.
La Taqueria will hide prize packs in Vancouver and Victoria and share clues about the various hiding spots on Instagram. The hunt starts at 11am and goes until all the prizes are found, or by 6pm.
The taco-themed prizes will be hidden near La Taqueria’s Victoria location (766 Fort St.) as well as the four others in Vancouver: Hornby (586 Hornby St.), Cambie (2549 Cambie St.), Hastings (322 W. Hastings St.), and North Van (1305 Welch St.).
