Today was a great day for Jody Rice! The Victoria Shamrocks presented a Mann Cup championship ring to “Super Fan” Jody Rice.

Jody has Cerebral Palsy, is confined to a wheelchair, but is often the loudest and proudest at Shamrocks’ home games and the Shamrocks wanted to recognize Rice’s support over the years.

Shamrocks governor Jim Hartshorne has known Jody since 1980, back when he owned the Victoria Cougars hockey club.

Jody has a passion for sports, the players, and life. The championship ring is a small token of thanks for 36 years of friendship and support, said Hartshorne in a release.
