Saanich Peninsula Arts & Crafts Exhibition

The 73rd Annual Saanich Peninsula Arts and Crafts Society (SPAC) Spring Show Exhibition and Sale returns to the Mary Winspear Centre in Sidney, celebrating local creativity with more than 2,000 artworks from SPAC members.

The exhibition runs Saturday, April 25 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Sunday, April 26 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Admission is $15 at the door, giving visitors access to three galleries and a gift shop featuring paintings, pottery, jewellery, fibre art, woodworks, sculptures, and more.

Visitors can also look for pieces selected as “Juror’s Choice” and cast a vote for their favourite artwork in the Viewer’s Choice ballot. There will also be 15 door prizes available.

The show kicks off with Patrons Night on Friday, April 24, an evening featuring wine, hors d’oeuvres, live music, and early access to the galleries. Tickets are $175 for two people, which includes a $100 gallery gift certificate, and must be purchased by April 17 at noon through the SPAC website.

The SPAC Spring Show offers a chance to explore and support local art while enjoying a creative weekend in Sidney.
