Gloria

Via Choralis’ spring concert will feature Antonio Vivaldi’s Gloria, offering a rare opportunity to hear the uplifting work performed in its entirety. The 40-voice choir will be joined by guest soloists and a string quartet.

Before the Gloria, the choir will perform a selection of choral favourites by Handel, Mozart, Fanny Mendelssohn Hensel, Nathaniel Dett and Andrew Balfour.

Via Choralis is led by Grant Harville and accompanied by pianist Kinza Tyrrell.

The concert takes place on Sunday, April 26 at 2:00 p.m. at St. Elizabeth’s Church (10030 Third St.) in Sidney.

Tickets are $30 for adults and $10 for children and can be purchased at Tanner’s Books, from choir members, or online.
