Brown Cup Regatta

The Brown Cup Regatta returns to Victoria’s Gorge Waterway and Inner Harbour on March 28, 2026, bringing one of the city’s most exciting sporting traditions back to the Victoria harbour. This year, the event proudly welcomes the Ralmax Group of Companies as Title Sponsor and Community Partner.

This long-standing rivalry between the University of Victoria Vikes and the UBC Thunderbirds features four thrilling races as elite student-athletes compete along one of Victoria’s most scenic racecourses. Spectators line the waterfront to cheer, celebrate community spirit, and enjoy the energy of race day.
