The West Shore RCMP have released a photo of a vehicle they are describing as a “vehicle of interest” in connection with a BC Transit bus having pellets shot at its windows.
The incident occurred last week on January 17, around 8 a.m., near the intersection of Craigflower and Admirals Road in View Royal.
The vehicle is described as a dark coloured, four-door sedan. Mounties are hoping to speak to the operator of the car.
“The West Shore RCMP are asking for additional witnesses and the public’s help to identify this vehicle,” said Const. Matthew Baker in a release. “We hope the driver of the vehicle and those responsible will hear this message and come speak with our investigators about the events of that day.”
RCMP confirmed that two windows were smashed by the impact of the pellets, but thankfully none entered the bus and there were no injuries.
They also believe that the crime was targeted.
