Victoria is in for another typical autumnal week with plenty of cloud and sporadic rain.

According to Environment Canada, the week will start out relatively dry, with partial cloud coverage dominating the forecast until the region sees periods of drizzle over the weekend.

On Tuesday, November 18th, Victoria’s forecast is calling for a 30% chance of drizzle, with a predicted high of 9°C, and an overnight low of 3°C. Patches of fog can be expected, but will dissipate around noon.

Come Wednesday, clouds will be prevalent in the forecast throughout the day and evening, with a 40% chance of showers overnight. The expected high is 9°C, while the low will be around 7°C.

Thursday’s forecast will be similarly cloudy, but with sunshine peaking through the cloud coverage here and there throughout the day. Environment Canada predicts the high will get up to 10°C during the day, and at night the low will be around 6°C.

Friday’s forecast marks the beginning of increased rainfall in the Greater Victoria region. According to the national weather authority, the daytime high will be 10°C with a 30% chance of showers. At night, the region will see continued periods of rain with a low of 8°C.

On Saturday, Victoria can expect a humid day, with a high of 12°C and periods of rain through the day and evening. The overnight low is predicted to drop down to 4°C.

Finally, Sunday’s forecast calls for continued rain, with a 60% chance of precipitation. The daytime high is predicted to drop back down to 8°C, while overnight, the low will drop to 3°C.

As November is past its halfway point and the holiday season creeps ever-nearer, Victoria still has not seen any snow in its forecast, and may not before the new year.
