Believe it or not, the most haunting holiday of the year is just around the corner!

From community events to candy jackpots at different shopping centres, there’s plenty for the whole family to enjoy.

Westshore Town Centre
Gather up the family for a fa-boo-lous time at Westshore Town Centre!
Costumed children are invited to trick-or-treat at participating retailers on Hallowe’en afternoon, Friday, October 31st from 3:30 p.m. to 5 p.m., while supplies last.
Plus, from October 29th to 31st, drop by their pumpkin patch near Dollarama and vote on your favourite jack-o-lantern, carved by Westshore Town Centre retailers!
Even better? Your vote gets you a chance to win a $100 gift card to Westshore Town Centre!

Sidney’s Treat Street
Downtown Sidney will be closed to traffic on Halloween and invites little ghosts, goblins, and princesses to enjoy a family trick-or-treat event!
Visit various Treat Stations around Sidney and some of the local merchants. It’s free fun for the whole family!

Halloween on the Boolevard at Uptown
This fall fair will feature carnival-style games with chances to win fun prizes, live music, and meet-and-greets with some of your favourite princesses.
Snap a photo in their themed areas, get your face painted, grab a hot dog, show off your costume, and soak in the fall vibes. Plus, don’t forget to trick-or-treat with participating Uptown retailers for some sweet Halloween fun!

Trick or Treat on the Avenue
Each Halloween, Oak Bay Village hosts a giant community Trick or Treat!
Oak Bay Avenue merchants and the Oak Bay Municipal Hall offer treats in stores from Foul Bay Road to Monterey Avenue. A complete list of participating merchants, identified by the pumpkin poster in their window, is posted a week before Halloween on the Oak Business Improvement Association website.

Esquimalt’s Halloween Spooktacular
Join Esquimalt Recreation for some Halloween themed fun!
Stop by on your trick-or-treating adventure to grab dinner from the Esquimalt Lions Club BBQ ( by donation), treats, and participate in some family-friendly activities.

Trick or Treat at Royal Bay
Bring your little ghouls and goblins for a spooktacular afternoon of Halloween fun at The Commons Retail Village! Participating businesses will be handing out candy, just look for the pumpkin signs in their windows.
Don’t miss the highlight: two decorated PATH “Trunk or Treat” trucks loaded with goodies!
Whether you stop by before, during, or after your neighborhood trick-or-treating, the Trick or Treat Trail is the perfect way to celebrate Halloween with costumes, candy, and community.

Langford’s Treat Street
Head to The Luxton Fairgrounds this Halloween for Treat Street!
Presented by Langford Fire Rescue and The City of Langford, this free family trick-or-treat experience is the place to be this October 31st.
Enjoy free treats, hot dogs, hot chocolate, and more at this safe and fun evening.
Additional activities include a photobooth with Four Frames Photography, entertainment from That Bubble Guy, balloon artists, music, games and more!

Trick-or-treat at the Parliament
On Friday, October 31st from 3 p.m. to 4:30 p.m., children and families are invited to Trick or Treat at the B.C. Parliament Buildings.
Join them to enjoy some spooky treats and participate in festive activities! There is no need to register for Trick or Treating—simply come to the Parliament Buildings in your Hallowe’en costume and have fun!
