Nanaimo RCMP are asking for the public’s help in finding a missing 87-year-old man with significant medical issues.
According to police, Douglas Poole hasn’t been seen since leaving his central Nanaimo home around 9:30 a.m. on Tuesday, October 7th.
Police say Poole has significant medical issues, and given his age and condition, there’s growing concern for his safety and well-being.
Poole is described as a Caucasian man, about 5’6” tall with a slim build and balding grey hair. He’s believed to be wearing a sweater, a black baseball cap, and black runners.
He may also be using a red mobility scooter and carrying a cane.
Anyone who spots Poole or has information about his whereabouts is urged to call 911 immediately, or contact the Nanaimo RCMP’s non-emergency line at 250-754-2345.
