Join the Royals in honouring the legacy of the Victoria Cougars this Saturday!
Head to the barn on Blanshard this Saturday, September 27th for the Royals’ second home game of the season, celebrating one hundred years of Cougars history.
Saturday’s game versus division rivals the Vancouver Giants will feature a banner reveal to honour the 100-year anniversary of the Victoria Cougars winning the Stanley Cup in 1925, and Royals players will don limited-edition Cougars warm-up jerseys, which will be auctioned off post-game.
There will also be a ceremonial puck drop to honour the families of Alumni who competed for the cup, and Gareth Hurwood, who performed at the Victoria Cougars Legacy Society’s 100-year celebration in March, will be performing live.
To celebrate the Cougars’ winning year, tickets will be $19.25 anywhere in the bowl, aside from the club seats.
The evening’s presenting sponsor, Labatt Brewing Company Ltd. will also be giving away a paddle-board and 150 cooler bags to fans.
Plus, Happy Hour pricing will continue at every home game this season!
The Happy Hour menu features $4 Labatt beer, $5 hotdogs and $3 popcorn, and will run this Saturday from 5 p.m. to 5:30 p.m.
