Phillips Backyard: ‘Reverb’

Phillips Backyard’s ‘Reverb’ is kicking off this Friday, and runs until Sunday, August 10th!

Headlining this weekend includes Peach Pit, Phantogram and The Roots.

Vancouver’s own Peach Pit are an indie-rock band known for their modest, mellow, jangly sound that has elements of pop, rock and surf music.

Other artists this Friday include Ruby Waters, Mac Sabbath, Uncle Strut and more.

Tickets are $119.24 for single day passes and $285.76 for the weekend.

Free-B Film Festival: Viva Las Vegas

The 26th annual Free-B Film Festival, a series of free outdoor movie screenings, is returning this Friday!

Rediscover an old childhood favourite, or introduce yourself and friends to a classic gem for the first time—either way, unwind and enjoy the magic of the movies in the fresh air!

Friday’s screening will feature Viva Las Vegas.

OK, DOPE: Girls Night

OK, DOPE, in collaboration with Foxy Box, welcomes you to Girls Night!

The evening promises high-quality stand-up comedy featuring some of Vancouver Island’s best female comedians.

Catch a live show, have some laughs, and maybe even win some prizes!

Tickets are $20 and can be purchased here.

Playoffs: Edmonton Riverhawks vs. Victoria HarbourCats

It’s time for playoffs!

Cheer on our local baseball team the Victoria HarbourCats as they take on the Edmonton Riverhawks in the first playoff game, which kicks off a best-of-three series.

Ticket prices range, but they start at $17 and can be purchased via Showpass.
