It’s not just hockey that brings the Victoria Royals together, this summer, it’s golf.
The team is bringing past and present together for a special event designed to celebrate its history, connect with fans, and raise funds for a great cause.
The Victoria Royals are teeing up a much-anticipated reunion this summer as they officially launch their first-ever Alumni & Foundation Golf Tournament.
Set for Friday, July 25th at the scenic Uplands Golf Course, the event marks a long-overdue homecoming for Royals alumni and a celebration of the franchise’s legacy in the community.
Fans and supporters are invited to take part in the festivities alongside former Royals stars, with proceeds supporting the team’s foundation initiatives.
The tournament will feature a full day of golf, starting with a 2 p.m. tee-off, and includes lunch, dinner, a silent auction, and plenty of engaging activities for attendees.
A pre-party will also be held on Thursday, July 24th at a location to be announced soon.
Among the alumni confirmed to return are some of the franchise’s most beloved players—Steven Hodges, Matthew Phillips, Joe Hicketts, and Kaid Oliver—all of whom made a lasting mark both on the ice and in the hearts of local fans.
Transportation will be provided to and from the Save-On-Foods Memorial Centre for added convenience, ensuring guests can focus on fun, not logistics.
Whether you’re a longtime Royals fan, a golf lover, or just looking to support a great cause, this promises to be a can’t-miss summer event.
