A stabbing incident unfolded in Victoria on Wednesday morning, resulting in one woman being transported to the hospital with a non-life-threatening stab wound.
VicPD responded to the call shortly before 9 a.m. in the 900-block of Pandora Avenue, where they found the woman suffering from an apparent injury.
The altercation took place in the parking lot of McDonald’s, which was cordoned off by police tape for several hours as investigators processed the scene.
It’s believed that the two individuals involved in the fight were known to each other, though further details surrounding the confrontation have yet to be released.
“Shout out to @vicpdcanada Constable Erwin & his partner for saving the life of a 33-year-old female at 9 a.m. this morning. Officers were flagged down on Pandora Ave for a female in distress. She had been stabbed in the chest. Cst Erwin administered emergency first aid,” said VicPD Chief Del Manak.

No arrests have been made at this time, and the investigation into the incident remains ongoing.
