Saanich Police are seeking the public’s help in identifying a vehicle that was involved in a collision yesterday.
The collision occurred on Highway 1 McKenzie Interchange on Sunday, June 1st at around 1:15 p.m. involving a Black Mazda 3 and a grey SUV.
The Mazda 3 was travelling westbound on McKenzie Avenue and the SUV was travelling eastbound on McKenzie, which then turned left onto the Trans-Canada Highway heading northbound.
Upon turning left, the grey SUV reportedly struck the Mazda and failed to stay at the scene of the accident.
Police are asking anyone travelling in the area of Highway 1 McKenzie Interchange between 1 p.m. and 1:20 p.m. to come forward if you witnessed the collision, or have dashcam footage.
