Three suspects have been arrested by Saanich Police after a woman was reportedly assaulted and robbed.

On April 26th, police responded to a report of an assault and robbery in the 200 block of Gorge Road West.

The victim was allegedly struck several times and robbed of her money and personal property in a targeted attack.

Once on scene, officers arrived and the victim indicated her attackers—two females and a male—had fled to a nearby apartment building.

The officers entered the building and two of the suspects were taken into custody as they attempted to leave. The third suspect was located inside one of the units and arrested without incident.

At the time of their arrest, police said they were in possession of a significant amount of cash, drugs, paraphernalia associated with the consumption and trafficking of illegal drugs.

Several weapons were also found, including an air-soft replica handgun.

Catherine Magee, Sydney Foort, and Sean Handfield have each been charged with one count of robbery and are scheduled to appear in court on May 7th.

They were later released from custody with conditions.

The victim did not suffer significant physical injuries in the attack and refused medical attention.
