After a couple of rainy days this week, temperatures will be climbing well into next week, when highs will reach 20°C.
According to Environment Canada, Greater Victoria should be sunny throughout the weekend and into next week, beginning today—Thursday, May 1st.
Thursday’s high is 19°C with nearly no cloud coverage and a simple slight breeze making the temperature feel more like 15°C near the shore.
The skies will remain clear through the evening as well with an overnight low of 8°C.
Then on Friday, May 2nd, a slight chance of showers is the only blemish on this week of sun and warmth. There is a 30% chance of precipitation in Victoria and the high is predicted to be 18°C.
Overnight on Friday, temperatures may dip down to 8°C, with a 40% chance of showers through the night.
On Saturday, May 3rd, there will be a slight dip in temperatures with the high projected to be 14°C and a mix of sun and cloud through the day.
Sunday will bring the high back up to around 16°C with no clouds in the forecast, and overnight lows through the weekend are predicted to be around 6°C.
From Monday through Wednesday next week, high temperatures are expected to be between 18°C and 20°C, with no signs of cloud or rain in the forecast.
Meanwhile, lows are expected to be as high as 9°C next week.
