Easter Egg Hunt at Westshore Town Centre

Gather your family and friends and take part in an exciting Easter Egg Hunt for a chance to win over $1500 in prizes from Westshore Town Centre (WTC) retailers.

The hunt kicks off on April 1st and runs through April 21st, so get those baskets ready and get to hunting!

All you have to do is pick up an Easter Egg Hunt worksheet from Chopped Leaf, Coles, Western Coast Insurance, or download it from the WTC website.

Then you’re set to explore WTC and search for the vinyl eggs displayed on the exterior of various store windows.

Europa Super Circus

Saanich Fairgrounds is hosting an unforgettable modern twist on a classic circus!

From Friday, April 4th to Sunday, April 13th, the award-winning Europa Super Circus is set to dazzle with thrilling performances and whimsical delights.

This is their first time in Canada, so don’t miss out!

Ticket prices vary by package selection, but general admission is $35.

Issamba Food & Craft Market

Experience this one-of-a-kind multicultural event with the Issamba Centre!

Their Food & Craft Market officially kicked off on Friday, April 4th, and the celebration will run until Sunday, April 6th. Take your time sampling different international cuisine and shopping from unique vendors.

There will also be featured performers throughout the weekend. Join fellow residents and visitors alike in experiencing a powerful celebration of culture, food, music, and community!

Kidovate 2025 at the Bay Centre

This annual youth entrepreneurship experience showcases the next generation of business leaders, ages 12 to 17, as they sell their handmade, re-purposed, or re-sold goods to the public.

It’s a one-day free market full of charm, creativity, and an impressive amount of hustle from Victoria’s youth.

Over 200 youth will take part this year, and the event continues to grow in popularity—not just with participants, but with shoppers eager to support the young minds behind each table.

Pacific FC home opener against Valour FC

Pacific FC is kicking off their 2025 season with momentum—and an offer fans won’t want to miss. The Canadian Premier League (CPL) club is launching a bold new ticket initiative called Ride the Wave.

For just $40, supporters can grab a seat for the home opener on Saturday, April 5th at Starlight Stadium in Langford. But here’s the catch: if Pacific FC wins or draws, that ticket also earns fans free admission to the next home game.

The streak continues until the club suffers a loss—making every match not just a game, but a chance to keep the ride going.

It’s a fitting way to launch what promises to be an exciting new chapter.

The Clay Pigeons at Hermann’s Jazz Club

Join Hermann’s Jazz Club in welcoming Victoria-based band, The Clay Pigeons!

They bring a fresh approach to some of the greatest songs written by the greatest American songwriters, including John Prine, Iris Dement, Townes Van Zandt, Blaze Foley, Willie Nelson and others.

Comedy Night at Hecklers Bar and Grill

For this Saturday’s comedy night, Hecklers Bar and Grill is presenting Ava Val!

UVic vs. UBC Rowing: Brown Cup

Cheer on our UVic rowing team as they take on UBC for the Brown Cup!

The race will take place along the Gorge Waterway, with festivities starting at 9 a.m. and carrying through until the awards ceremony at 2:30 p.m.

Visit New Exhibit at The Maritime Museum of BC

Exhibition The Marine Art of John Horton: From Nine to Ninety officially opened on April 4th, and will remain in the museum until June 1st.

This exhibit celebrates the marine art of John Horton, and is also in honour of his 90th birthday.

Admission is $10 for adults, $8 for seniors and youth, and free for children under 12.

Sip & Swap: Small Gods Brewing

Been meaning to pick out your next read? Small Gods Brewing has a solution!

This Sunday, they’re hosting a Sip & Swap event where everyone is encouraged to bring a mystery-wrapped book. Simply wrap a pre-loved/used book in plain paper with a five-word teaser (no title or author).

Pick up your own mystery read and chat with fellow literary lovers, as well as local authors.

Any leftover books will be donated!
