The chilly weather over the past two weeks in Victoria has certainly made its mark, but the sunshine that accompanied the cold has been a welcome treat for many.
While the sun is expected to stick around for a few more days, the latest update from Environment Canada suggests that the city could see its first snowfall of the season as early as mid-week.
According to the weather agency, there’s currently a 60% chance of flurries hitting Victoria on Wednesday. However, Thursday is expected to bring rain, though we all know how quickly the weather can change on Vancouver Island, so be prepared for the unexpected.
For the weekend, Victorians can expect to soak up more sunshine as the forecast calls for clear skies and no cloud coverage throughout the weekend.
Monday and Tuesday are looking just as bright before the potential arrival of snow mid-week.
With temperatures dropping to lows of around -1°C this week, make sure to bundle up if you’re heading outdoors over the next few days.
