Don’t miss this seasonal highlight for both residents and visitors alike!

Welcome the magic of the holidays with the Parliament Building’s Celebrate the Season program, kicking off this Friday, November 29th with their annual Light Up event.

This spectacular evening is fun for all ages, and includes musical performances, activities and, of course, the heartwarming moment when the Parliament Buildings are lit up for the season.

The Light Up event will kick off inside the Parliament Buildings at 4 p.m., featuring a lineup of local musicians taking the stage.

Held in the Upper Rotunda, check out the Linden Singers of Victoria at 4 p.m., Ensemble Laude at 4:30 p.m. and Reynolds Secondary band at 5 p.m.

The grande finale takes place outside on the front lawn, where the building will be alighted in a dazzling display of Christmas lights.

The lighting ceremony will be accompanied by performances from the Glenlyon Norfolk Middle School Choir and the Victoria Children’s Choir from 6 p.m. to 6:30 p.m.

The event is free to attend and no registration is required. Just show up with loved ones and indulge in some holiday cheer!

If you’re hoping to join in on more festive fun, Celebrate the Season spreads throughout the duration of December with free concerts held in the Upper Rotunda.
