Earlier this month, a short documentary was released via Youtube that shows early automobiles traversing the Malahat.
The footage in this documentary shows vehicles on the original Malahat Road, circa 1912.
It also details the history of why a road was needed, the construction of the road, various roadblocks encountered and how the road was built.
