Get ready to indulge in the spirit of the season with Off The Eaten Track’s popular Cozy Christmas Food Tour, kicking off November 21st!

This festive 2-hour walking tour promises to be a delightful journey through downtown Victoria, featuring seven delicious stops and an array of holiday-inspired treats.

Expect to sample everything from peppermint bark and spiced nuts to gooey cheese and decadent hot chocolate—perfect for satisfying your seasonal cravings.

“Food is a cornerstone of the holiday season, evoking warm nostalgia and cherished memories of favorite seasonal dishes often made by loved ones,” Bonnie Todd, owner of Off The Eaten Track, told Victoria Buzz.

“On this tour, we celebrate both classic and creative holiday flavors, aiming to spark the festive spirit in every guest. One of my personal favorite samples on the tour is Nuts & Bolts—a holiday tradition in my family. Made from my Grandma’s recipe from the 1960s, this treat has always been a beloved staple that truly makes the holidays feel complete.”

Plus, they’ve introduced two fresh additions that bring even more festive charm to this fantastic culinary adventure!

“New this year is a taste of authentic Italian Panettone from The Tuscan Kitchen, featuring premium selections of this iconic Milanese holiday bread,” Todd added.

“[And] on the savory side, we’ve added an exclusive turkey and cranberry or veggie stuffing toast from OSO Bakery—an off-menu creation crafted just for our tour.”

The tour kicks off at the Off The Eaten Track gift shop in the historic Steamship Terminal Building and wraps up at the charming Chocolat & Co. at Douglas and Fort.

Along the way, you’ll enjoy delicious bites, explore local shops like The Victoria Market Collective, The Papery, Russell Books, and take in some holiday magic at the Festival of Trees at the Bay Centre.

Plus, each stop is accompanied by fun storytelling to immerse you in the festive spirit.
