Feist announced to headline final day of Rifflandia as full lineup released

Share

Rifflandia has announced their final daily lineup, completing the full roster of musical acts Victorians can look forward to seeing this year.

This year the festival will look a little different than it has in the past few years as it continues to grow and evolve in different ways.

Rifflandia will take place between September 13th and 15th and solely on the Matullia Lands at Rock Bay, adjacent to the Phillips Brewing backyard. Additionally, it will only take place over only one weekend rather than two.

There will be four stages, one of which will be dedicated to comedians after last year’s resoundingly successful Lafflandia stage kept people entertained between musical acts.

Rifflandia touts itself as BC’s most genre-diverse music festival and this year’s lineup shows it with some 90’s nostalgia, indie folk, hardcore punk, alternative rock, hip-hop and of course electronic music all being well represented.

This year’s big headliners will be REZZ on Friday, TLC on Saturday and Feist closing out the festival on Sunday.

There are plenty more incredible musical acts to see aside from the headliners though.

Some special mentions are Tokyo Police Club, who are on their final tour; Broken Social Scene, The Beaches, who know and love Victoria; Cro-Mags, who will be there for the punks; and so many more.

“We’re thrilled to have all of our artists announced for this year’s festival,” said Nick Blasko, President and CEO, Rifflandia Entertainment Co.

“With music and community as our centrepieces this September, we can’t wait to share the full Rifflandia experience at our new festival site on the Matullia lands at Rock Bay.”

Those planning to attend Rifflandia this year have until tonight, Thursday, May 30th, to purchase their tickets at the “Tier 3” price, which offers a slight discount. After that, ticket prices will increase to “Tier 4” pricing.
