With the Victoria Day long weekend fast approaching, we know what that means!

The Greater Victoria Festival Society is delighted to present the much-anticipated Thrifty Foods 124th Victoria Day Parade, in beautiful British Columbia’s capital city.

Taking place on Monday, May 20th, from 9 a.m. onwards, this iconic parade begins at Mayfair Mall (Douglas and Finlayson) and continues along Douglas Street finishing at the intersection of Douglas and Humboldt Street.

The Victoria Day parade is known to feature marching bands, community and commercial floats and cultural performances—and this year is no exception!

Leading up to the parade, both Saturday, May 18th and Sunday, May 19th will feature local talent and a drum battle from 10:30 a.m. to 6 p.m.

The fun doesn’t end with there!

Following the parade on Monday, everyone is invited to the performances at the Centennial Square—beginning at 10:30 a.m. with Stages Performing Arts.

Plus, Gordy Dodd’s ‘One World Multicultural Festival’ is taking place from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Guests will be treated to live entertainment, bouncy castles, singing and dancing!

Featured performers include Veselka Dancers, Vancouver Island Peruvian Pichanga, Korean Fan Dance and Pung Mul Pae, Salsa Caliente, Finest Summer and much more.
