November is shaping up to be an exciting month for Victoria Royals fans, with seven home games on the schedule, including Military Appreciation Night and the return of the popular Teddy Bear Toss.

The Royals have enjoyed a strong start to the 2026-27 Western Hockey League (WHL) season, winning nine of their first 13 games and giving fans plenty to cheer about.

The team is coming off a 5-2 victory over the Wenatchee Wild on Sunday, November 1st, with Caleb Matthews scoring twice, Nolan Stewart recording a goal and an assist and goaltender Cole Prelusky making 23 saves.

Among the players helping lead the charge is forward Cameron Schmidt, who has quickly established himself as one of Victoria’s most exciting offensive threats.

With the Royals looking to build on their early-season success, November will bring several opportunities for fans to catch the action at Save-On-Foods Memorial Centre.

From divisional rivalries to special theme nights supporting the community, here’s a look at every Royals home game happening this November.

Victoria Royals versus Moose Jaw Warriors (Friday, November 6th)

The Royals kick off their November home schedule by welcoming the Moose Jaw Warriors to Save-On-Foods Memorial Centre.

It’s a rare opportunity for Victoria fans to see the Saskatchewan-based Warriors in action, as Eastern Conference teams make limited visits to Vancouver Island during the regular season.

The Friday night matchup will also mark the Royals’ first home appearance of the month following their recent road trip.

Victoria Royals versus Tri-City Americans (Saturday, November 7th)

Saturday’s matchup will be about much more than hockey as the Royals host their annual Military Appreciation Night.

With Remembrance Day just days away, the evening will honour Canadian Armed Forces members, both past and present, while recognizing the military’s longstanding connection to Greater Victoria and Vancouver Island.

The Royals will wear special Military Appreciation jerseys, which will be auctioned off to raise money in support of Canadian Armed Forces families.

Representatives from multiple military branches will also be in attendance, with special activities planned throughout the evening.

Victoria Royals versus Kamloops Blazers (Tuesday, November 17th)

The Royals return to home ice for a BC Division showdown against the Kamloops Blazers.

The two teams are familiar opponents, and divisional matchups can carry extra importance as teams battle for position in the WHL standings.

The Tuesday night game will be the first of two consecutive meetings between the teams in Victoria.

Victoria Royals versus Kamloops Blazers (Wednesday, November 18th)

The Royals and Blazers will meet again just 24 hours later for the second half of their back-to-back series.

With both teams having little time to regroup between games, fans can expect another competitive divisional matchup.

The two-game homestand will give Victoria an opportunity to pick up valuable points against a familiar BC rival.

Victoria Royals versus Regina Pats (Wednesday, November 25th)

Another Saskatchewan-based team will make its way to Vancouver Island when the Regina Pats visit Victoria.

Like Moose Jaw, Regina plays in the WHL’s Eastern Conference, making its appearance in Victoria a less frequent matchup for local hockey fans.

The Wednesday evening game also kicks off a stretch of three home games in five days to close out November.

Victoria Royals versus Seattle Thunderbirds (Friday, November 27th)

Get those teddy bears ready!

One of the most anticipated nights on the Royals’ calendar returns when the Seattle Thunderbirds visit for the annual Teddy Bear Toss.

Fans are encouraged to bring a stuffed animal to throw onto the ice when Victoria scores its first goal of the game.

The stuffed animals will then be collected and donated to local charities, helping spread some holiday cheer to families across Greater Victoria.

Last season, Royals fans tossed an impressive 2,731 stuffed animals onto the ice, and the team is hoping to surpass that number this year.

It’s a fan-favourite tradition that combines an exciting night of hockey with an opportunity to give back to the community.
