Haunted attraction in Metchosin raising money for BC Children’s Hospital Foundation

There’s nothing that says October quite like a haunted house.

For a twist on the October tradition, a Victoria family is looking to turn monsters and mayhem into money for a good cause through a local haunted attraction.

Terror on Tiswalde, situated at 798 Tiswalde Road and run by the Campos family, is turning the annual fright factory into an opportunity to raise money for the BC Children’s Hospital Foundation.

The event is celebrating 18 years this October and has been donating a portion of proceeds since 2021.

According to the family, the idea came when the family’s son was diagnosed with Crohn’s disease.

Over the last five years, the family has raised more than $35,000 for the BC Children’s Hospital Foundation. Every year, the event earns more money for the foundation with last year being their best ever.

In 2025 alone, the family says they raised $11,000, nearly doubling the amount raised the year before. This October, the family hopes to raise even more.

For those who want to help Terror on Tiswalde reach their goal, donations can be made here.

There are also donation boxes and QR codes that can be used to support the endeavour on site.

Terror on Tiswalde runs from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m., now until October 31st.

For those who want a bit of an extra fright, they’ll have scare actors on-site next weekend, October 23rd to 25th, as well as on Halloween night.

Turn your fright into funds this year and visit Terror on Tiswalde!
