West Shore RCMP were busy over the Labour Day long weekend, issuing numerous tickets over the three days.
Police say that in total, 11 traffic violation tickets were issued.
Four tickets were handed out to “N” drivers for excessive-speeding, with all of the motorists being caught driving at over 100 km/h in a 60 km/h zone.
These motorists had their vehicles and motorcycles towed.
Three motorists received 90-day immediate roadside prohibitions after being found to be impaired by alcohol.
“Slow down. Stay focused. Drive sober,” said West Shore RCMP in a social media post.
Police noted they also ticketed one driver for failing to pull over for an ambulance over the long weekend.
West Shore RCMP did not reveal what the remaining three traffic violation tickets were issued for.
